Its been a crazy few weeks and you must be inundated with notifications about the coronavirus (COVID-19.) That said, we feel it is important for us as travel specialists to reach out to you and inform you about the latest news that affect your travel plans.
Many airlines have offered to waive cancellation or booking fees. If you're considering changing your departure date or cancelling, check out the latest rebooking and cancellation policies from some of the major airlines:

Affected flights will be refunded or can be rebooked without a fee.See more information here.
Any booking made on or before 31 March 2020 now comes with the option to adjust your travel dates at zero charges. If there is a difference in airfare or applicable taxes, an additional amount will be collected. See more information here.
The airlines enable customers to change their destination, date of travel, or both for free, on all new bookings made from Tuesday, March 3 to Sunday, May 31, 2020, as well as any existing bookings that depart up to Sunday, May 31, 2020. See more information here.
They will proactively contact all customers due to travel up to and including 16 April 2020 to offer a range of flexible options, including moving their holiday to a later date. See more information here.
If you're mid-trip and away from home, you have to fill out their away from home form. If you havent travelled yet you can rebook your travel up to 30 April 2021. No change fee and any difference in fare. Reroute your travel to, from or via another destination, up to 30 April 2021. See more information here.
If you purchased a refundable ticket before 31 March for a flight scheduled between 3 March and 31 May 2020, you can cancel your trip and request a refund online. See more information here.
If you have booked a flight with a scheduled departure until 31 May 2020, you may change your travel dates without having to pay the change fee. Until and including 30 November 2020, you can change your travel dates if the same travel class as mentioned on your original ticket. See more information here.
Your ticket can be rebooked within its original ticket validity period or until a new date of travel up to 31 December 2020 and Lufthansa Group will waive the rebooking fees. See more information here.
