The biggest of the Balearic islands, Majorca draws millions of visitors each year. But does this mean it is just a cattle holiday destination? Not at all! Despite its popularity, Majorca retains its unique charm. There is, in fact, something for everyone on this island, and in Majorca's case that is not just a tired old phrase!

These are our favourite Majorca attractions.

Beautiful beaches
Lively, tranquil, scenic - from wide stretches of gorgeous sand to hidden coves lapped by turquoise waters, Majorca's beaches are amongst the best in Europe. For families, Cala Millor and Sa Coma are very popular. Those who are prepared to go further afield will find pristine sands at Es Trenc and Cala Agulla.

Hills & mountains
For those who love to hike & bike, Majorca is a paradise outside the hot months: Its gentle hills and rugged mountains provide an exciting landscape that is a joy to explore! For the most stunning scenery, head to the Serra de Tramuntana mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage site, that offers breathtaking views and charming villages like Valldemossa.
