Fancy a trip to Corfu?
Located just off the west coast of Greece, the pretty island of Corfu offers a unique kind of charm that cannot fail but to enchant. With its crystal clear waters and lovely beaches, it is easy to see why Corfu is such a much-loved holiday destination. But this little island has so much more to offer!

3000 years of history
Ancient Greek, Roman, Venetian, French & British: Corfu's history spans over 3,000 years! The gentle hike up to the Old Fortress rewards with a Venetian masterpiece, as well as fabulous panoramic views of the island. We also highly recommend taking a morning to explore the superb Achilleion Palace, built by Empress of Austria Elisabeth, as well as a visit the Archaeological Museum which showcases relics from Corfu's storied past.

Corfu's beaches
Okay, any visit to Corfu will take yout o the beach, and little wonder! Corfu is home to some of Greece's most beautiful beaches. There is Paleokastritsa, with its crystal-clear waters and dramatic cliffs, perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Glyfada Beach offers golden sand and lively beach bars, while the secluded Myrtiotissa Beach is a hidden gem, ideal for tranquillity & relaxation.

Fabulous Walks & Experiences
If you love to explore, you'll love Corfu's wonderful landscape! Walk through the fragrant olive groves of the village of Pelekas or take the Corfu Trail, a 220 km (!) path offering stunning coastal views. The narrow channels and small bays of the famous Canal dAmour in Sidari, offer a unique swimming experience in idyllic surroundings.

Attractions
Explore the vibrant Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with its charming cobblestone streets. Here you will find the bustling Spianada Square and beautiful St. Spyridon Church, known for its great bell tower. If you have time, a boat tour will offer unique experience of this lovely island.

Food & Drink
Corfiots love food & drink. Ouzo, if you dare! But while the strong anise flavour might not be everyone's cup of tea, the sofrito (a flavourful veal dish) and the bourdetto (a spicy fish stew) are so worth trying! Pair your meal with local wines, like a robust Robola from nearby Cephalonia.
Best time to visit: April, May, September & October to explore the island. Visit in summer for a beach holiday.
