Discover magical Edinburgh
Did you know that one of the most enchanting cities in the world is less than an hour's flight away? Unique charm, fabulous buildings, ghosts & oodles of history, Edinburgh is so worth a visit!

Edinburgh can be 'done' in 2 days, but we would recommend allowing at least 3 or 4 days. Here are some of our favourite attractions:

Historic Edinburgh
Edinburgh Castle is the Scottish capital's most famous landmark: Magnificent and brooding up on its hill, it offers stunning views of the city & surrounding countryside.

Edinburgh is not only home to a castle, but to a palace as well! The Palace of Holyroodhouse, the official residence of the British monarch when in Scotland, is a picture-book palace that will have you snapping photo after photo!

So much of this city is filled with historic significance, that both its Old Town and New Town are UNESCO-heritage listed sites. Wherever you are, you're never far from a piece of exciting Scottish history!

Charming shops & cafés
On your way from the Castle, you'll find The Royal Mile stretching down before you: This historic street is lined with great shops & cafés. Just a few minutes walk away, in Victoria Street, you will find The Elephant House Café, where J. K. Rowling wrote parts of Harry Potter over coffee & cake.

Edinburgh walks & tours
Edinburgh is best explored on foot. Take your time & marvel at the lovely buildings, the historic charm, and step into any shop that takes your fancy - Edinburgh has so many unique places! If you dare, you can also sign up for one of the city's ghost tours. You'll meet fantastical historic characters and see a side of the city, you may never even have guessed at.

If you don't mind a little hike, you should make your way up to Arthur's Seat. This legendary extinct volcano offers marvellous views all around!

Edinburgh festivals
Every August, the city of Edinburgh breaks out in a riot of colour and festivities: The Festival Fringe - famous the world over - is an amazing spectacle of art, comedy & sheer vivaciousness that attracts millions of people each year. In 2025, the Fringe Festival runs from 1st - 25th August.

Food & drink
No visit to Edinburgh would be complete without a taste of its world-famous whiskies! But will you dare to taste the haggis?
